Andrea Finley is a young professional who believes and lives the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” As a Certified Diversity Professional, she serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC). Finley currently resides in Greenville, SC, where she also serves as a certified financial educator, counselor, and founder of Good Cents Consulting. She provides a listening ear and shows people that managing their finances does not have to be complicated. Finley was recently named 2020 Credit Union Rockstar for her financial wellness work with her local non-profit organizations.

Our guest is Debrah Hall-McCullon was born and raised in Riviera Beach. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in journalism. She began freelance writing and marketing in 2005 where she started the South Florida Gospel News and Next Level Productionz. Debrah worked for a number of local and national business entities. In January 2020, she released the first volume in her series of books, Riviera Beach Moments, which was #1 on Amazon’s Best Seller’s Lists for historiography.Debrah owns the Florida Black Sports Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization that honors some of Florida’s greatest sports legends. She also owns the Pitmasters Association, an organization where pit masters are able to receive their certification. Debrah sits on a number of community service boards and has worked for the City of Riviera Beach for 22 years. Debrah can be reached at

Progressive Investors was established in 1996 with 7 initial members as a registered partnership in the state of Virginia for long-term growth investment in the stock market and providing investment-related education for its members. The club has followed NAIC guidelines by investing regularly, reinvesting earnings, investing in growth stocks, and having a diversified portfolio. The club is going strong and has been successful over the years due to having dedicated members with an eagerness to learn, being flexible, and having a good fellowship at our meeting.
They are currently at 10 members that are split into 3 teams that do the stock studies and recommend buying, selling, holding, or further studying. They use the BetterInvesting website and SSGs to make their recommendations for stock purchases. New members come from acquaintances of our current membership, and they allow visitors who are interested in becoming potential members. Today, they have 23 companies in their portfolio.

Our guest Nathan Osgood was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University, in Public Administration and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, from Nova Southeastern University. He is the Chief of Police in the great City of Riviera Beach. He currently commands a 180 men and women Police Department, serving approximately 40,000 residents. Nathan Osgood served 32 years with the Broward Sheriff’s prior to coming to the Riviera Beach Police Department. For a great part of his law enforcement career, he worked in the Strategic Investigations Division investigating narcotic operations, gangs, money laundering, Multi-Agency Gangs Task Force, Internet Crime Against Children, and vice and organized crimes.Our guest is Nathan Osgood (561)-313-1432 (CELL)

Candace Baker is currently a director and treasurer for the St. Louis Chapter of BetterInvesting. She received an O’Hara Service Award for her contributions to the chapter in 2018. She graduated from the University of California, Riverside, in 1968 with a degree in Mathematics, married a Captain in the Air force, and spent 28 years moving from one location to another while working in accounting off and on. Her last job was working in General Accounting for Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, Virginia.
She joined BetterInvesting in 1997 where she helped reorganize the Great Scott Investment Club in O’Fallon, IL, and has remained the club treasurer to this day. She became the educator for the club and then joined the St. Louis Chapter as a director/educator in 2002. She helped start the Model Investment Club of St. Louis and another model club for the chapter located in Illinois which lasted 5 years before disbanding in 2016. She also started a “Let’s Talk Stocks” discussion group for the Chapter and our “Classes To Go” program where she brings their classes to clubs.

Dan Harter has been a member of BetterInvesting since April 2000 and an active volunteer since January 2001. Dan started volunteering with the Inland Empire Chapter while living in Washington state and continues with the North Florida Chapter since relocating to Florida.
Dan is the VP of Education and Training for the North Florida Chapter. He has a passion for educating, which he also does with the Eckerd College Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, where he teaches technology-related subjects. Dan is also a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross. When he's not volunteering, Dan provides onsite computer repair for individuals and small businesses.

After overcoming poverty, divorce, and single motherhood, Jackie still managed to retire early (in her 40s) to follow her dream of creating a financial-literate society. Jackie is a Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF®), and author of the book, “Money Letters 2 my Daughter”, which was the 2013 winner of Excellence in Financial Literacy Education (EIFLE) Award for Adult’s Book of the Year, Money Management. Jackie has served on the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana Chapter Board of Directors for the past 10 years and recently joined the National BetterInvesting Board.
