Therefore, we are calling the podcast, #IAMRIVIERABEACH.

A member of BetterInvesting for more than 30 years, Eve is an advocate for personal financial security and believes everyone can manage a successful portfolio by deploying the BetterInvesting principles. As a young working mother in the early 90s, Eve was the family money manager and curious about investing. When an article appeared in her local newspaper featuring the educational benefits of BetterInvesting, she joined. The Stock Selection Guide provided her with a methodology to make good decisions and understand what to look for in a stock’s performance which leads to a buy, hold, and sell the range. In 2008, Eve was widowed. Fortunately, her life could go on without worrying about how to pay the mortgage or finance the final years of college for her daughter. She attributes the knowledge she gained through her membership in BetterInvesting as the reason her family is financially secure. She is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the National Business Education Association. Eve is a member of the Evergreen Investment Club of Cincinnati where she is the co-treasurer. Today's Guests: Dan Calloway and Artie Williams
Mr. Dan W. Calloway has served as the Athletic Director of the Youth Recreation of Palm Beach County since its founding in 1965. His love of all sports began early in life and led him from the sandlots of Riviera Beach to the Pittsburgh Pirates farm camp. After returning to Palm Beach County, his love for sports helped him mold the lives of thousands of young people through mentoring and coaching for the past forty-eight years. Many of the young people that he mentored went on to become professional athletes. He always tried to impress upon the young people with whom he worked the importance of becoming responsible, contributing citizens who give back to their communities. He believes that if he can keep these young people involved in sports, and other activities that they will not turn to negative street influences.
Artie J. Williams has had many accomplishments in life, but none more important than being a part of M.A.M.A, Inc. founded in memory of his nephew Torrey Donnell Manuel. Artie knows firsthand about the violence that has claimed the lives of many of our young people, so he vows to fight to prevent another mother from suffering the loss of a child to senseless violence.

Charles Bright is a native of North Brentwood, Maryland. He is married and has 2 Daughters and 2 Grandchildren. Charles Bright began his journey learning about the importance of finances when he had a paper route at the age of 11. His Mother helped him invest by buying savings bonds and told him they would double in 5 years. But, not really understanding the importance at that young age, he cashed them in before their maturity date. In 1996, through a family member, he had the pleasure of meeting a man named Daniel Garnett who gave him a share of Diebold, Incorporated stock and asked if he was interested in learning about stocks and investing. His love for numbers told him to say yes and Mr. Garnett took him under his wing. Mr. Garnett introduced him to the NAIC (now Better Investing) principles that he still utilizes today.
His first major project under the tutelage would be to start an investment club. As of today, he has held various positions in the Pinnacle Group Investments and has assisted in starting at least 4 other investment clubs for others. He has taught children beginning at the age of 6 – 14 during summer camps about investing and the importance of saving money. He is passionate about teaching financial literacy and knowledge about investing to people of all ages. He believes that by teaching others the importance of investing and saving, he can pay it forward in the remembrance of Mr. Garnett for all the knowledge that he so freely shared with him.

Branden Bufford is a 4th generation Detroit Homeowner and 3rd generation landlord. While playing monopoly in his early adult years, it clicked "not owning would have me always owing" and it made me insecure. Also, becoming a parent and having every waking moment calculated for me was stressful. I am committed to being a husband, parent, and employee but that puts me last on the priority list, and that also makes me insecure.
Branden always knew real estate would be his ticket out the rat race and in his 30s, he's been hyper-focused on it. He learned the game through a handful of podcasts and did the most important thing: TOOK ACTION
In addition to managing 5 houses, he owns vending machines and is a host on Turo. His goal is to "retire" by 40 and have his time back.
