Poitier Denise Poitier studied Culinary Arts and Food Service Management and also received The Hospitality Academic Excellence Award.She then recieved Master of Science Degree in Hospitality Management,certifications in Culinary Arts,Restaurant Management and Wedding Planning. She has held management positions in both hotels and restaurants in Bahamas and the U.S like Catering Sales Manager at Sheraton Nassau and Restaurant Manager at Red Lobster, Florida. Her company 'The Hospitality Guru International', provides consultation and training services to small businesses in the sector. She also lectured at an all-girls college in Rwanda. Over 100 of her students gained employment after graduation. On Denise return to the Bahamas, she and her husband started Gourmet Lunch Box and Caribay Cuisine which has been successfully in operation for over 5 years.
